Ok. I'm going to be polite about this.
Over the last few weeks of uploading different joomla versions to find one that worked with your platform I found that joomla 3.2.4 worked very well. I found this out by uploading jomsocial on 10 different versions of joomla from 2.5 to 3.3.1. (Took a huge amount of time)
I have had over 40 people sign up for membership on my site !!!!!!!
After many hours and days of hard work and system implementation I've had enough. I've tried to overcome the huge amount of bugs and fixes for the problems that jomsocial has by submitting various support tickets. On 5 occasions I've submitted tickets nothing has been rectified by your support teams. I've discovered the answer to my problems myself yet still thanked for your efforts
On the last occasion I asked for a minor problem to be resolved and your support assistant has (without permission) decided to conduct system updates to my entire system creating many, many, more problems that can only be sorted out with yet another complete removal and reinstallation. And trying to match the right joomla system for your new release version 3.2.1. Searching through your jomsocial videos it clearly states that you should not upgrade to the latest release of joomla because of the known bugs there were. Just as I found a system that was working well together, your support representative conducted a backend system upgrade and has cause lots of problems that would take me over a month to sort out (time I do not have.)
I do not have yet another 4 weeks to waste trying to get this site up and running. Your advertisements suggest its so simple and I have commented that if it is as good as you are advertising then the support should be working just as well with people who can understand what I am on about. That is not the case.
I would like and am asking for a full refund for the pro package and template and seo add on that has been purchased from you.
I have tried to list a refund request in the forum section as asked in your refund policy but that forum has been closed and you can not post a refund request on that forum. this is day ten of my subscription and my request is being made within the 14 days that you ask for.
You have one chance to overcome this.
I am not interested in you adding any content to my website, however if you can upload a suitable WORKING COPY OF JOMSOCIAL AND TEMPLATE AND ISEO TO MY SERVER. WITH YOUR RECOMMENDED JOOMLA VERSION I WILL REMOVE MY REQUEST FOR A REFUND.
the update that your support assistant conducted removed many features of my jomsocial and created to many problems to overcome.
I have spent many hours on jomsocial hero videos and they do not help overcome the issues I have with missing plugins and complete sections of the jomsocial platform.

The issues.
filter bar missing from profile pages
share buttons on profile page missing
module to be able to determine any home page missing
no apps to add onto profile pages under customise profile. something to do with the module suffixes I think
Ive lost a complete menu and the original homepage item which was the main homepage. nothing special no content was on it
but. now to avoid having a blank page on login ive had to remove the toolbar from homepage and split the menu because I cant elect what homepage I want to land on , on logon.
ive tried changing settings in configuration but does no good. I always purge expired and cache but these do no good. ive tried reinstalling and updating but these don't do any good.
I really want this jomsocial to work. a refund is only the last resort as I think the platform is brilliant... but it has to work so I can get on with content and advertising it

Ive found a huge list of backend plugins not active but still have problems with filter bar. Im removing the refund request Paul. back to minor problems. Been a hell of a night 28 hours on a keyboard trying to get this sorted and I think were on top of things

Missing Karma images was reported to Dimas, He fixed this issue and i can see in the current 1.2.8 version of socialize they are working correctly

Missing main component: After looking at this issue the option of hide activity stream is set to "hide" therefore it will not show on the frontpage as per that selection.

Other than the component not showing which is a setting, i am not able to see any other faults outstanding, in regards to time spent installing our product. all Jommla products should be installed on the current 2.5. or 3.3 version of joomla and Jomsocial will work as a default install on either version, I am not sure what you are meaning but time lost trying to install it on the correct version
Because our product is complex and extensive there will be bugs form time to time, this is an unavoidable part of web development. Please let me know if there are other issues we have not taken care of and i will look into them
I have also looked at ISEO and it to appears to be installed and working correctly.
Because you have made it clear you don't want us to make any changes i have not changed the setting, Please let me know if you would like us to change the setting for you.

I just have one problem. The filter bar on the profile page isn't working, if you can get someone to have a look at that for me the ftp details and the admin details are all the same.
I don't mind minor changes but I would like to be told if there are system updates of the cores.
In your post it says you can install it on joomla 2.5 or 3.3 (id research jomsocial videos that say not to install it on 3.3 as it has quite a few bugs including hanging on installation.) on socialize template I personally went through 10 installations of different joomla versions and on each of them they all hung on various stages of the installation (Completley clean installation on empty database) of jomsocial pro community. The only version I found that would run under testing jomsocial seamlessly was joomla 3.2.4. maybe you could do with updating a few people. Unless those bugs have been sorted out, im literally talking a week ago i went through installation on joomla 3.3 and it was terrible during the installation process of jomsocial. After 3 attempts alone on 3.3 i abandoned it and returned to 3.2.4 as a starting version. Everything installed very smoothly. Freeola are also aware of the hanging problems on 3.3

The filter bar on the wall is only on the homepage there is no filter bar under the other post boxes.
Its interesting what you say about your experience with the install, today i have run around 8 installs of Joomla 3.3 and jomsocial 3.2.1, i'm not disagreeing with your experience of what happened with the install i am more interested it what was going wrong. the videos or quotes saying not to install it on 3.3. are referring to the day Joomla 3.3 came out, Joomla made some major changes to the user sessions and there was issues with that but this was fixed within days. And is not a problem now. But i'm getting off topic :)

Hi paul. You can call me thick lol but i have this problem.
Im installing jomsocial on a second soon to be third domain, and i have this problem as i had before. but ive forgotten the process. Im trying to get the plugins active for the add applications side of the profile customisation page. I cant find them in any of the plugins active or any other place can you remind me where they were again please.
Got it sorted paul. Origonal community pro download file came corrupted. maybe last problem i had was associated to that.. all done now.
