Disable your plugins and modules before reporting errors to JomSocial as the third party could be the cause.

MichałGreat tutorial Craig Luecke Most of issues reported on forum are 3rd party extensions conflicts or issues. This video should teach user that they need to pay more attention what the have installed before some feature stop working as expected.
BTW adding points display feature to core notification module will be quite ease... if you're interested with a hack - just give me a sign 10 years ago
