Old socialize template had a position above main position component, now socialize 2 theme don't have. Why? - feeling sad

Digita ok, it is actually easy to add a module position to a template. I have never used the socialize I cannot help you but find the layout php file and see: docs.joomla.org/Declaring_module_positions

onimaro For me it is not a problem to enter a position in the t3 frameworks, however I do not understand why have removed this position very useful. 9 years ago

onimaro ^___^ Yes, I know. These are postion for jomsocial. Socialize is also template for joomla, and this position is good for other applications. 9 years ago

T3 QUESTION - The Socialize 2 template package currently includes T3 Framework plugin version includes 2.4.5 while the newest version is 2.4.8. I am hesitant about upgrading because I see a mention in the Socialize documentation that the 2.4.5 is a custom version for Socialize. Is this true? Can we go ahead and install updated framework plugins as they become available? Yes, I am having issues... Show more

Alan It's worth taking the time to install a test/development site to test any and all kind of updates before going live. I used the old version of socialize and always updated the T3 plugin without issue, I would be surprised if Socialize2 actually used a custom t3 framework plugin, if it does I would have thought it kind of defeats the object of using a framework if they don't keep to it's standards. 9 years ago

Arthur I'm asking what position is that on the right thats titled MEMBERS? I can't use ?tp=1 in the demo because preview is turned off. I also can't access admin to just look for myself. 9 years ago
