I'm using Jomsocial to help manage an emergency department in the US. I use a couple of groups to keep the docs and nurses updated and informed. I use GURU as an internal LMS to manage our continuing education requirements. I wanted to say thanks for a great product and incredible support!

a Guest Wow, this a great use of JomSocial and Guru! Thanks for letting us know and keep rocking 7 years ago

Lee That is so cool! I use Jomsocial for a little language school in Italy, it's new so we are still trying to come up woth cool ideas about how to get people involved in creating the community, any suggestions? We have also started using Guru, some little tutorials for English with my voice, makes me laugh every time I listen to them 7 years ago

Is the JS Toolbar in the Add on bundle fixed to the top of the screen like on the socialize template or does it scroll up off the screen like on jomsocial.com. Will the toolbar in the add on bundle accomodate pinch and zoom? The toolbar on the socialize template pinch and zoom as the same as the rest of the screen and thus doesn't work properly if it is enabled.

Stephen I simply just edit the header position in the CSS of my template and set the position to 'fixed' ... you will also need to set z-index ... here's what I did using the GavickTheme Music State ...

#gkHeaderMod {
width: 100%;
position: fixed;
z-index: 10;
}

and then placed the JS toolbar in that position ... voila! sticky toolbar. and the page content scrolls behind it. Hope that helps.

Anyone updated to 3.6.2 recently. I updated and it broke by log in form. Had to go back to 3.6. Saw a post about this a week or two ago but didn't see that it was resolved.

Jonathan Socialize toolbar but the pop up. I have removed the fields in the bar itself. 8 years ago

a Guest I was advised by Michal to simply enable the Joomla login module accessible on all pages but DO NOT assign the module a position (leave blank), this will enable the form to display again in responsive and mobile views... 8 years ago

Oh man, I just noticed I can pinch and zoom on jomsocial.com. Will that be coming to the socialize template?

Jonathan I'll open another ticket. Just FYI, I opened a ticket on this a few weeks ago. www.jomsocial.com/forum/socialize-template/33984-p…. It didn't work correctly. When I applied the code the toolbar would not pinch and zoom along with the rest of the screen and things would get messed up.
