It says my JS has expired, however, I did pay my subscription last year but I did not make the upgrade to the latest version of jomsocial as my web tech disappeared off the planet, so does this mean I have to pay for another year to get the upgrade?

Michał Generally yes as your subscription expired. But you don't need to pay for whole year but only for 6 months. That depends from you if you prefer 6 or 12 months. Also if you renew, you'll get discount (will not pay full price as renewals are always discounted). Please, post on Support Forum if you'll need further explanations or guidance.

When I create a new custom profile field there is no SAVE Option Tab, hence the field cannot be created.
I am using Jomsocial 3.2.1 with latest joomla version. Can someone please help? Thx

Michał Ai, this is a very old version of JomSocial... outdated and unsupported. If you want to keep it... you'll need to hire a developer: www.upwork.com/groups/jomsocial

But, if I may advise, it's better to do an upgrade to most recent version.

Hi All
when I upload a photo it will only give me the option for site members to see the photo, however, I wish to make it so that the public can see the photo as a non member.
How can I do this?

Barry You can only choose the option site members when posting the photo, you do not have any other options, there is no problem with posting written content, or video, you have the different options with these, but no option on photo upload 10 years ago

Michał It's because you set that in profile preferences.... and there is no settings for single photo but for an album. When you upload photo on stream and it's posted you may change privacy option for that activity (what I showed you on a printscreen). Please, check my answer again carefully... 10 years ago
