Hello,
is there a way to disable jomsocial so that the site will load on mobile devices fast again? Load time on mobile devices from 1 to 5 minutes!
Better not having community then having no mobile streaming at all.
I am using Version 4.3.1

Jürgen Mindgem That worked. Page loading again in a few seconds depending on connection speed.

Only Events are still not loading. Any idea how to reset the event thing? I do not need to keep old ones.. and new once I will happily write again when fixing this thing too. It loads not even on PCs.

Jürgen I might have found it. Now after the update it diplays first time an error message what I suppose is the reason. "CURL error: 7 Failed to connect to maps.google.com port 443: Connection timed out"

I will reconfigure the maps api. Then test again.

Jürgen Siniša Krišan I did try this. But I am only getting a white field to select something within the "Localisation Field Code".

Something is not working proper since 4.3 and I need to dig into it. That map integration is something I easily can deactivate.

Jürgen UPDATE: yesterday right after the update the mobile site loaded as it should. Fast, stable.

As of today... it is like before the update. Taking up to 5 minutes to load on mobile devices. (Testet with LAN, 3G, 4G, LTE,...)

Any ideas what might have changed? I did not change anything within the backend after it worked.

I took a backup fortunately and think of taking it back into place.

Jürgen Hello Sinisa, I have Alin working on a ticket already. I dont know how the impact would be if another supporter will work the same time on my installation.
Alin has all access data now. Even ftp.

It is crucial for me that it works mobile. Because tomorrow my new book will presentated at the book trade fair in Leipzig. There will be a lot of mobile access then.

TO A better way to solve your issue is this aprouch : instead disable it ... make the mobile view more lite ! ... cut every module that your users don't realy need on mobile 7 years ago
