HI, Alain.

First try to create language override:

PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_ENROLL = "has enrolled in course"

There are more language constants in plugin language file:

PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_ENROLL = "has enrolled in course"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_CERTIFICATE = "has received certificate for course"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_FINISH = "has finished course"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_QUIZZ1 = "has passed quiz"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_QUIZZ2 = "in course"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_FEXAM = "has passed final exam"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_ENROLL_N = "Enable enroll notification"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_CERT = "Enable certificate notification"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_FINISHED ="Enable finished course notification"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_REGULARQUIZ = "Enable passed quiz notification"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_FINALEXAM = "Enable passed final exam notification"
PLG_GURUSTUDEACTIVITY_BUY_N = "Enable buy notification"

So you may create translation, French version of this file.
You'll find it in Guru package in folder: JomSocial Plugins.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Alain.

It's because activity is saved in db in English: i.imgur.com/4HBGffk.png
Try to enroll again and check if translation will be applied.

Hi, Alain.

Create another user and use it to register to a course.

There may be few of them:

COM_COMMUNITY_PHOTOS_UPLOADED_BY = Uploaded by %1$s
MOD_COMMUNITY_PHOTOS_UPLOADED_BY = Uploaded by %1$s

Hi, Alain.

This is MOD_COMMUNITY_PHOTOS_UPLOADED_BY = Uploaded by %1$s for sure. I've checked source file.
Take a look at your override: i.imgur.com/EvLGRRY.png
There is a mistake in constant. You added 1S at the end - that's why it's not working.

Hi Michal,

I removed 1$ but it still doesn't works. If I put MOD_COMMUNITY_PHOTOS_UPLOADED_BY I get it in french but whithout the name, please see screenshot. If I put MOD_COMMUNITY_PHOTOS_UPLOADED_BY = Uploaded by I get the full text but in english.

Hi, Alain.

You misunderstood. I asked you to remove "1S" from the end of constant.
You did that but also removed placeholder from text... that's why user name disappeared.
I added it to text and now it's fine.
