ISSUE SUMMARY: I am translating profile fields into French and I get some strange symbols for example this "G�n�rales" instead of this "Générales". I dont have this problem on the rest of my website. Issue is only in Jomsocial pages.

Do you know how to fix this issue?

this issue usually caused by the unicode html entity from your Joomla HTML header, I suggest you contact your Joomla template for this.
