Hello,
I translated en-GB.com.community.ini in french, renamed it fr-FR.com.community.ini uploaded it to eveil.me/language/fr-FR.
But nothing works. Everything is still in english. I flushed Joomla and server cache, no more luck.

It's the same thing - some lines or a line is corrupted (e.g text in not closed). Use the same method to locate fault.

There was a " missing in the begining of line 2169.
The file fr-FR.com_community.ini is fully translated in french and working. But there is still some text in english, for example here:

or here:

the texts "has enrolled in course", "has been approved as an author.", "has been published".

Profile fields should be translated the same way as menu items in jomSocial toolbar:

As for the rest of untranslated texts. Try to use Joomla! language override feature:

Some of them are hard coded as they come from plugins.
"View all courses I take" -> PLG_GURUCOURSESTAKE_VIEWALLC
"I take", "I teach" and both from Publisher need to be changed in plugin files here ROOT/plugins/community/ look for corresponding folder names and edit main php file. Those titles are on the beginning.
