Hi Friends,

discovered more Text Strings which seems hardcoded. I user Joomla 3.4, Jomsocial 4.0.1, Socialize 2 RC1

These are in:

Page - Create Event: Hide on list of events
Page - Event List: attendee / attendees
Page - Event List: Search for Event
Stream Page: At the Stream Page click on privatsphere - here opens a window with options : Public, Site Members, Friends, Only me

Where I am able to change this?

Hi Karl,

because you using joomla 3.4. there is a issue with backend template.
1. goto joomla backend > extensions > template manager, and acivate Hathor as backend template
2. goto joomla backend > extensions > language manager, select overrides
3. select the language filter (at right section)
4. New
5. search any language do you changing it, after you find it you can edit it

for the most Strings I could tranlsate the Language Strings...

This was: attendee, attendees, Search for Event

But with the following Stings I have further troubles:

This is with this Text: Hide on list of Events (Here I din´t find the String in en-GB.com.community.ini)

The next is with the Privacy Settings. For this problem I uploaded two Screenshots for better understanding:

Here are the Words: Public, Site Members, Friends, Only me

In my german Language file (de-DE.com.community.ini I have the follwing Strings which are should doing the Translation:

COM_COMMUNITY_PRIVACY_PUBLIC="Öffentlich"
COM_COMMUNITY_PRIVACY_SITE_MEMBERS="Mitglieder"
COM_COMMUNITY_PRIVACY_FRIENDS="Freunde"
COM_COMMUNITY_PRIVACY_ME="Nur ich"

But at my Site this Strings are still in English. I tried with Language overide but this didn´t help.

this following Text seems to be hardcoded further in Jomsocial 4.0.1

In Page Add Event: HIDE ON LIST OF EVENTS - I didn´t find a String for this Text in en-GB.com_community.ini
Also the check Box seems not be well designed - it is just straight right beside the Text "Private" without Space

I added a Screenshot.

here the patch:

unzip it, and put the files at:
components/com_community/assets/release/js/bundle.js
components/com_community/assets/source/js/popups/stream.selectprivacy.js
components/com_community/libraries/assets.php

dont forget to backup first.
