Hello,
i wanted to download the italian language package but it's not possible to download it in the addons area here on this website.
why is not possible to download the installation packages for languages in that area?

i saw that is possible to download translations from transifex, but i also know that the files that i can download from transifex have to be renamed and uploaded in the proper server directory, how i have to rename those files and where i have to upload them?

jomsocial use Transifex for all our language translations.

the language files must put at:
/administrator/language/[language code]/[language code].com_community.ini
etc.
and /language/[language code]/[language code].com_community.ini
etc.

if still dont know how to do it. please send me that language file. I will do it for you.

You can download the current language packs from our site as well, www.jomsocial.com/addons/translation-packs These zip files can then be installed the same as a normal Joomla plugin

but as you can see there isn't anymore the italian one, and i cannot understand the reason
