When i m typing a name in frontpage title through jomsocial--> site cofig and have already installed languages then when i m changing that name to something else it changes to English but not in other languages.
this happened when i was changed the domain and had to move my website and mysql database.
also i have send a support ticket to change the primary domain name.
You mean that you enter a language constant in Frontpage Title field in JomSocial configuration.
Could you make a printscreen?

in the area frontpage title i had my previous website name title that was playerzbook, in that i have athletizer.
for the first domain i had 2 language installed Greek and default (Eng).
when i transfered my files from one to another and the database also i changed that area (frontpage title)
Then i tried to login (eng) to my website and i saw the correct title, when i changed the language to greek within the edit details i saw the page title to change to my previous web page title.
i have fix my error through phpmyadmin. i changed the name in language table and now is fixed but you can test it and fix it in new version.
My problem is fixed!
