Hello,
I wonder will it be any Swedish translation or what is going on? I was into transifex.com and there it says it is 100% ready and 0 strings to translate.
Where can this package be downloaded from and who is the responsible part of it? My jsversion is 3.2.1.2.
HI, Tom.
There is Swedish translation available. You can grab it here:
www.jomsocial.com/translations/translations/sv-SE
:D
Hi, Tom.
Clicking on link at the bottom of page will generate complete package. Then just install it via Joomla! installer.
Did you have any error notices during install?
Hi,
Yes I got errors when trying to install the package. It was saying it couldn't find the package, so I unzipped it but when I look it is 2 folders, one for admin and one for site. So my question is, should all the .ini files override the files already in the sv-SE folder or dp I have to upload both admin and site folder to the root?
Forgot to say, sv-SE folder which now are installed are the Swedish language pack for Joomla.

Hi, Tom.
prntscr.com/48rl7h
It's because you have wrong chmod (or chown)... that is access right to temp folder:
prntscr.com/48rl9a
Without writable "temp" folder you'll not able to install anything in your system.
Please, contact with your hosting manager for assistance.
You may manually copy those files: all what is in admin folder should goes to ROOT/administrator/language/sv-SE and what is in fron folder to: ROOT/language/sv-SE
Hi, Tom.
It meas that file for backend is corrupted.
Probably translator damaged by mistake some line.
We don't support translation files except English. All other translations are contributed by community.
You may try to fix it yourself:
1. Use English ini file as a base, just rename it to pretend Swedish translation file.
2. Then start copying to it strings from Swedish file - block by bloc.
3. Save after each block and check if changes are applied.
4. If suddenly changes ware gone it means that in recently copied block was corrupted line.
5. Then reverse last change, review copied block or start to copy line by lie, checking if changes are applied.
This should help you to locate corrupted lines.
Please, report them to us so we'll fix them in original file.
Hi, Tom.
Name of the main file for fronend and backend is the same :D
Only content is different :)
So it doesn't tell me anything.
Just make sure that correct files are copied to correct directories.
Well all other files are uploaded to the right directories, I was just asking where the xml file should go because it wasn't in any folder in the package, but alone. Thats why I asked if it should be in administrator/language/sv_SE or in the root/language/sv_SE
Hi, Tom.
In your previous reply you haven't specified that you're asking about xml file :)
That's why I mentioned before: please, pay attention to details.
You can ignore that file. Its used as a set of instruction for installation. Since you uploaded files manually - it is useless, just leave it.
So it means that backend translation is corrupted. Now proceed with checking for corrupted line just like I told you.
