i added language switcher by joomla but not showing the languages, i created language file for the new language however i am wondering how can i associate jomsocial tool bar translation to language switcher

I suggest you install joomfish for the language switcher www.joomfish.net/ I am sure it will help you.

joomfish is not supported to my joomla website version i installed Falang instead, however it offer to translate the menus, componenets, modules, ..etc. and as per my readings to your documentation about translation it is not recommended to transtlate jomsocial toolbar menu, noting that my website doesnt include any articles or modules except for jomsocial. so please advice

So your main issue is Jomsocial toolbar translation right? well it wont effected with Falang, follow this doc documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Translate_Toolbar is required for multi translation.

hi, it worked ok on desktop, however the translation file is not read while browsing on tablet, i only get translation for months on events module

I am browsing with desktop, and all translation is not translateable..please make sure you do the right step for multiple translation setting.
