Hi all,

Has anyone else been getting this error? When on a profile clicking on the share this arrow. When I enter emails to share a profile with and submit I receive the "email will be sent" message. However none of the emails actually receive the email. Is there a setting somewhere I need to change?

Thank you for contacting us.
After you try to share a profile link, please, browse to Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Monitor -> Mail queue and check if email is on the list: prntscr.com/hd6zjk

Check what status does it has. If it's PENDING it means it wait to be sent - you need to fire cron manually (click "Execute cron" button above list) or wait till it will be fired automatically (if you configured cron properly).

If it's marked as sent - then the issue is with receiving - not sending.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Thank you for your help, upon clicking execute cron it worked. However it seems that I have not configured cron so it sends automatically. How do I do this??

It will help you to set up cron properly.
You may also contact your host support so they will help you with that task.
