JomSocial Support,

I know JomSocial runs a community site of your own. I am wanting to know if you have any suggestions or pitfals that I should watch out for on a busy JomSocial site. A CDN is already scheduled to be activated along with possible web-server load balancing and a separate server for MySQL. What about the following...?

Caching Recommendations MemCache, APC, etc?

Modifications needed to handle extremely large number of users?

Issues that may need to be addressed to handle several thousand simultaneous users?

Any other ideas or recommendations?

These are my recommendation :

1. You need activate the amazon storage documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Setting_up_Amazon_S3
2. enable the server cache with memCache or another cache
3. use the 3rd party joomla template which supported with cache template
4. tweak your mysql and server setting
5. minimalize install the lot of plugins/modules which not very important for your site
