Sinisa says it is easy to remove the text "Recent Activities" from any version of Jomsocial...
Could it be explained how this can be accomplished? =)

Its very simple. Ill assume youre using JomSocial 3.1 and you have something like this

All you have to do is to edit, or create an override for this file
ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/frontpage.index.php at line 48
Simply remove entire line

<h2 class="cResetH"><?php echo JText::_('COM_COMMUNITY_FRONTPAGE_RECENT_ACTIVITIES'); ?></h2>

Hi Gavin,

To change any text or remove text you just update your language file.. search about "Recent Activities" and change it or remove it so the constant value will be "" (two double quote). by the way do you want to remove all "Recent Activities" text on jomsocial?

Sinisa's solution is perfect!
I prefer to edit the actual files, that way I know where I am. I have a list of edits that I make jomsocial each time I install an updated copy.

Also thanks for the tip on the language file!
I don't think I need to change anywhere else, just the area like in Sinisa's screenshot :)
