Custom Module for footer doesn't display background color that matches

ISSUE SUMMARY: I created a custom footer module but the color doesn't match correctly.


STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1. Navigate to mpaktr.com as superuser to see footer.

RESULT Background of module doesn't match background of the rest of the footer.
EXPECTED RESULT Colors match
BROWSER Safari

I was able to find some code on a different post to mostly fix this problem. This is what my custom.css file looks like now. However I still have some slight shadowing around the module in the footer
