HI, Luis.
1-3. You install Socialize just like any other Joomla! extension:
docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Installing_a_template
4. Currently at user profile you should have two tabs: activity stream and about me. You may add other tabs by enabling apps (that is plugins). If you want to have tab that counts all user activities - you need to create such a plugin (app). Unfortunately we don't develop extensions on demand. So you may be interested to ask professional developer for help:

5. If you want to receive activation email for users you need to Browse to Backend -> Users -> Manage -> Options (button upper right) -> New User Account Activation - SELF.
6. Please, follow those steps:
0. Make a safe copy of your whole system (files and database)
1. Browse to Backend -> Extensions -> Extension Manager -> Manage
2. Search all extensions using filter "com"
3. Uninstall all JomSocial related extensions
4. Search all extensions using filter "jom"
5. Uninstall all JomSocial related extensions
6. Download latest JomSocial package from here:
www.jomsocial.com/component/digistore/licenses
7. Unzip it
8. Install com_community package via Joomla! installer
9. Follow installation steps
I think I uploaded the socialize 2 template right now its telling me to make sure I click on LESS>CSS...wait and then save.
I did that.
now in template manager I see Socialize, T3 Blank and T3 Framework I'm I good or did I forget or do something wrong?
Hi, Luis.
If you see Socialize in template manager - it means it's installed successfully.
Now enter Socialize dashboard by clicking template name.
In upper left corner you'll have a button "Compile LESS >> CSS" click on a small triangle at right on that button and choose current theme only.
Wait a bit and you should see that compilation was done successfully.
Now close Socialize dashboard. And on template list click icon in default column to set Socialize your default template.
