Hi, Halcer.

On module positions list you'll see ONLY positions that are part of template or are already in use.
So if you want to assign module to JomSocial built-in module position... you need to TYPE IN position name as it won't be displayed on the list. Joomla is "aware" only module positions that are in use or are declared in template xml file. It can't "see" built in or nested module positions.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.

"We should take the position that is here above aucerdo to the image accompanying you, it is the posision" js_sade_frantpage_to "but not the js_sade_frantpage, really, appears able to put the module event in the js_sade_frantpage position in this page, but no longer, it is possible that a misconfiguration on the menu. Another thing you could see is that if I want for example to assign a module only to the events page I can not, I must also mark the page " profile "and still is assigned to all pages of the site. if you could check the menu and menu allocation of any of the modules to see what I did wrong, he could not assign a single module to a page,

Hi, Halcer.

If you want a amodule in that place you need to assign it ti: js_side_frontpage_stacked position - what I did.

You can't assign modules to JomSocial toolbar menu items as they... don't have own menu item ID.
In Joomla! in a fact you assign modules or access privileges to menu item id.
In case of JomSocial toolbar menu items they don't have their own menu item but inherit it from menu item that is outside JomSocial toolbar menu, is related with JS and have the LOWEST menu item ID. That's why introduced built-in module positions.

Also js_side_frontpage_stacked module position appears ONLY on JS frontpage. So you won't be able to display it on events page as that position doesn't exist on that page.

Please, read this documentation, I hope it explains how built-in module positions work: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Built-in_Module_Positions
