ISSUE SUMMARY:
i want to make a page with iframe in midle and the com parts on the sides
how do i do that? i only managed to get it without the comthings on the sides...

No, nothing is broken :)
Actually there is no module position in main content area:

You may use HTML or Wrapper module to add iframe but assign it only to module positions ABOVE main content area... unless you create new module position... but if you don't have php skills - consider to hire a developer to help you with:
