Does Jomsocial provide any finder which can search members and groups in Jomsocial?
Like when I start typing in the text box, I will start getting the name of members and groups who are present on the Jomsocial(my website) network.

No, there is no ajax suggestions in search fields.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Instead of searching a group I found this module on the Groups page.
Can you please tell me which is the module on the right panel of the Groups page? Its named as 'Join a Group'
Also, I tried joining a group from there with demo username login. After I joined the group, the group is still displayed in the module of 'Join a group'

Join a group is just a top group list module.
It doesn't search for groups and will be displayed even if you're a member of any group.
