Map search issue

Hello Support,

I am stuck in the location search i.e. Google Maps integration. I am not getting proper results when I am searching for location in 'Say what's in your mind'

Can you please suggest if I have not added any proper setting or something.

Hi.

Mapę will be much improved in JomSocial 4.1. AS for now, in 4.0.9 you can't search or enter custom location - only predefined location taken from Google will be displayed.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Michal,

Is Jomsocial 4.1 releasing soon?
The upgrade will be affecting my existing files. Will it be possible that I will be able to upgrade only the files for map or specific modules?

It should be available any time soon.
If you did core hacks then yes, it will affect them. That's why we don't recommend core hacks.
No, this improvement is related with postbox, js scripts and many files. Can't be applied only for some files as you'll break your instance.
