Hi, Alicia.

Ok, but where is JoomSocial toolbar on your site?
prntscr.com/8d6ekv

I see that it is enabled in configuration and there is no override in template. So where it is?

You had enabled Joomla! caching what may caused your issue... I disabled it.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

How do I install the toolbar? I thought it was automatically there.

Hi, Alicia.

It seems that you customized:

ROOT//components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/assets/css/style.css (line 4185) by adding:

#community-wrap > div > div.joms-toolbar--desktop > ul > li:nth-child(2), #community-wrap > div > div.joms-toolbar--desktop > ul > li:nth-child(3), #community-wrap > div > div.joms-toolbar--desktop > ul > li:nth-child(4), #community-wrap > div > div.joms-toolbar--desktop > ul > li:nth-child(5), #community-wrap > div > div.joms-toolbar--desktop > ul > li:nth-child(6), #community-wrap > div > div.joms-toolbar--desktop > ul > li:nth-child(7), #community-wrap > div > div.joms-toolbar--desktop > ul > li:nth-child(8), #community-wrap > div > div.joms-toolbar--desktop > ul > li:nth-child(9) {
display: none;
}

That hide toolbar options. Well, this is wrong approach as you may disable toolbar in JomSocial layout configuration.
Please, remove that code and I'll test your notification issue.
