ISSUE SUMMARY:
Still having problem with odd characters appearing in my profile menu.
I follow instruction and updated the spanish extension.
Nothing change after the update.

And in the comment box it shows in english too.

Should fine now.. I think you should contact the spanish translator from transifex www.transifex.com/projects/p/jomsocial/ (you should login first), some strings are outdated.
