I'm pretty sure this is something really stupid having to do with creating Joomla menu items. It's been a while for me. I have several menu items in the Jomsocial toolbar that do not navigate to where they should be (groups, events, videos for example). Could you take a look?

I suggest you to create "jomsocial home" at main menu (top) item, and please do not make "double entry", try using alias menu item type if you want put jomsocial toolbar at top menu.
