I disabled the "ThemeMagic" option ("OFF") and went back to activate ("ON"), but the site now opens blank. How can we reverse this problem ?

Hi Pedrox,

that ThemeMagic is a part from T3 framework ( www.t3-framework.org/ ). socialize running under T3 framework.
I suggest you to re-install the socialize seem some LESS or CSS files are missing.

Let me know the result.

FYI: it more safe if you must custom css at /templates/socialize/css/custom.css instead using thememagic

I managed to solve, but now I have this error...

that joomla issue at some server.
you can changing the database type from joomla configuration > system > global configuration > server, changing it to MySQL

if you want still using MySQLi I suggest you to open new topic at here:
forum.joomla.org/
