ISSUE SUMMARY:
I have upgraded to Socialize2 and it seems very complicated to configure. Referring users to framework T3 is not helpful. Socialize1 is more intuitive and the mobile menus were automatic. Now it seems to be necessary to do more configuration in T3 and readup on their site. For instance it seems that you now need to create an off-canvas module that is accessed via some arrow which is not commonly recognised by users. I looked at T3 Framework bs3-blank this seems more straight forward as a template than socialize. How can I get the look and feel more like this?

Most of settings didn't changed a bit... there are few more features in Theme Magic... but main dashboard remains nearly the same as Socialize 1.2.9.
Please, tell me exactly what you need.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

You're correct - Socialize 2 doesn't use off canvas bar anymore bud just a dropdown menu.
i just talked with template developer and we agreed to bring back off canvas toolbar in next release of Socialize.
I'm not sure if it will be EXACTLY the same off canvas solution but developer assured me that it will be better than it is now ;)
Nevertheless your request was added to developer TODO list.
Thank you for reporting this.
I'm looking forward if you'll have similar observations ;)
