Appearance of modules in Socialize template footer

ISSUE SUMMARY:
I would like modules I place in the footer positions to appear the same (transparent) as modules that appear in the footer of the Socialize template at socialize.jomsocial.com
I am assuming that the modules in the footer on the Socialize template website are custom html modules but when I create similar they look like the attached screenshot!
Has the socialize template website customised the template to achieve this effect or am I doing something wrong?
I am keen to know how to do this.

thx Mike

Hi, Mike.

Add this code:

#t3-footer .t3-module, #t3-footer .module-ct {
	background: transparent;
}

to:

ROOT/templates/socialize/css/custom.css (if you don't have custom.css - feel free to create it)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Just wondering if you can also provide me with the code I need to add to change the footer module header background from grey to blue like the rest of the module? See attached image.

Hi, Mike.

.t3-module module {
box-shadow: none !important;
}

h3.module-title {
background: #03a8f4 !important;
}
