ISSUE SUMMARY:
I've made new layout from default Socialize-social layout to have scrolling intro page like it is on Purity III template. I've added new "masthead" position on top of the template layout, but the text in that position goes too wide on widescreen monitors. please see att.

You should wrap content of your module into some divs:
