please follow this steps:
1. copy default.php from /modules/mod_community_toolbar/tmpl/ to /templates/socialize/html/mod_community_toolbar/
2. edit it, find this code at line 60

<input type="text" class="form-control" placeholder="<?php echo JText::_('COM_COMMUNITY_SEARCH') ?>" id="keyword" name="q">
