JomSocial Expired Socialize Expired

NOTE:
This was working perfectly using Socialize 1.2.9

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

Login as a regular user
Attempt to use community toolbar located in top-header position

RESULT:
After uninstalling the old toolbar module and then installing a fresh 2.0 it appears that the toolbar is still stuck in 1.3 version somehow. I think the version in my download is mislabeled somehow. I attempted to upgrade to Toolbar 2.0 RC1 instead after many attempts but still no positive result.

EXPECTED RESULT:
I expect the toolbar to work.

OCCURS ON:
Joomla 3.4
JomSocial 4.0.1

TEMPLATE:
Socialize 2.0

OPERATING SYSTEM:
Windows 7

BROWSER:
Chrome, Firefox

Hi, Jared.

How did you upgraded Socialize? I presume that you installed on top of older version...
You should remove old one and install new version...
Please, try that...

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I indeed did uninstall the old Socialize first and then installed the clean copy of 2.0

I will attempt again.

Okay, I did everything again with no change. As you can see I have uninstalled first in the extension manager and then went one step further and deleted the directory via ftp.

Also, you will notice that now the toolbar version is showing 1.3 from a fresh install of the 2.0 package I downloaded earlier today.

You are more than welcomed to give it a shot yourself. I have supplied FTP and phpmyadmin access.

Hi, Jared.

Your issue was caused by outdated override that was inside Socialize html folder... how it stayed there when you uninstalled template before upgrade - I don't know. I just removed it and now toolbar is displayed fine. You may change it colors to fit your site design.

As for version number, it seems to be a typo <version>1.3.0</version> . I reported it to our template developer.
