We are using Socialize on our new site in development. When viewed on Mobile please can you tell us how we can get the Menu items to collapse like yours do for Profile and Friends? (eg You have a small arrow beside Profile to expand out My Profile, Change Profile Picture etc, but most of the time those items are hidden).

We either have the Menu Headings Profile, Friends, Groups, Photos etc with no menu options, or if we add Menu options such as My Profile, Change Profile Picture we see a long list of all the menu items ALL the time. They don't collapse (so our Menu list shows 'Profile, My Profile, Change Profile Picture all the time).

We want to replicate what you have!

Please can you help? THANKS!

Hi Susan,

that items collapse from mega menu T3 framework it self.
please try to update T3 at your site from www.t3-framework.org/downloads.html

as you can see the arrow already pointing down. but no items collapse.

I looked at the T3 framework and still I can't get it to work. I see you have it working on your own site. How did you do it?

Hi Susan,

we did it from: joomla templates manager > socialize > navigation section, and select Always show submenu = On

something wrong with your site, seem any 3rd part conflict. I need to install akeeba backup at your site to download your site. I need to make local copy for debugging purpose. I need you permission.

Ok, I thought it was something specific to the socialize template that I had to clear down.

I set up a new jomsocial installation with socialize2 and am still having this problem of menu not collapsing. I am now having this problem with the off-canvas menu. Socialise1 it wasn't necessary to set up an off-canvas menu module. Socialize2 seems a lot more configuration required and much more cumbersome.

If you go to templates>socialize>navigation the T3 framework recommends that you turn off the collapse navigation - see instructions on T3 "Enable default Bootstrap collapse navigation for main navigation on small screens. This option should be turned off if you want to use Off-canvas style for collapse navigation". This seems very odd that you can't have an off-canvas collapsible menu?
