How can I remove the JFBC icons in the community toolbar BUT keep the icons in the main component?

you can override this file:
/modules/mod_community_toolbar/tmpl/default.php

copy it to:
/templates/socialize/html/mod_community_toolbar/default.php

at line 166 you can find this code
