Hi, i just installed the socialize template, and i want to set the registration form on the Homepage, like most statndard social network looks.
Also, i would like to edit the homepage, add some content, pictures and other medias too.
How do i do this please?
Hi Samson,
Make registration on home page looks simple but to be honest that is bit tricky, because Jomsocial is not designed like that. For the solution I suggest you set all Jomsocial modules as registered and set the Activity stream for members only. I think that would be a solution for you.
thank you
If i set the activity stream and all others as members only, will the registration page show on the homepage?
That's what i'm trying to achieve, because it tried something related to this,
setting access for some parts for registered users, but i still can't have thee registration page show in the Home-Page.
It's the welcome message, and the banner showing on the homepage.
Hi Samson,
Another solution, you simply can create new Joomla menu, and set the menu type to Jomsocial register page, and then set thet page as default page / home page.
regards
You can edit your homepage (register page) inside this file components/com_community/templates/default/register.index.php and which login form do you mean? because we have some login form page, from module and from jomsocial home page
I mean the registration form with Jomsocial.
The default jomsocial registration form.
I just sent you the location of the registration form, in a private message.
Yes, it's the registration form on "components/com_community/templates/default/register.index.php " that i want to edit.
I want to modify the css, resize it the form,
and add some content to the right side of the form.
That's what i want to do.
You are using local IP we can't check it :)
Your request is not easy and bit-complex, we cant support the complex modification.. I suggest you hire the 3rd party developer for helping you

Hi Dimas, i actually disabled access to the server,
as i wanted to be the only one with access to it,
but i've just enabled it now, for public access.
You can view it now.
Thanks.
I suggest you create new module (custom module) and put the module position to sidebar-2.
