Hi, Tom.

You have folder permission issues. I remember that we experienced this before on your server. I also see that some of your folders on server has permissions 777... changed so to avoid some permissions issues... but this is very unsafe permissions.

Nevertheless, please contact with your hosting provider to help you check folder permissions for socialize template.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Tom.

When I tried to install it on your site I've got "- Could not copy files" error notice. That indicates chmod or chown issues. Files should be freely moved around Joomla! instance. Moving files doesn't depend from extension you want to install.

I installed toolbar module for Socialize 1.2.9 and latest T3 framework plugin. That went well... but now template files can't be moved.

You may try to uninstall Socialize permanently (I've made backup of your site so you'll loose nothing. And first you'll need to switch to any other template as default template couldn't be uninstalled) and try to install it again (only template file).

Hi, Tom.

Strange, I just upgraded your Socialize without any issues:
prntscr.com/4yjril
prntscr.com/4yjroc

Please, check if everything is displaying well. If you notice any issues with template, please, open new thread.

JomSocial Active Socialize Expired

Hi Michal,

I removed Everything in Socialize and installed it from scratch, and now it seems Everything work as it should. The only thing I cannot get removed is T3's logo on the bottom. :)

Hi Michal,

When trying to update T3 from 2.3.2 to 2.4.0 it still shows one update is available. How come?

Hi, Tom.

As for T3 logo, you can switch it off in Template administration panel -> General -> Show T3 Logo -> OFF.

As for update indicator, it seems to be T3 framework issue or maybe caching issue. Just leave it like that after some time check if it was changed. If not - just ignore it. Check in plugin what version is displayed there. If it's 2.4.0 then ist's fine.

Hi Michal,

I fixed the logo, but something are very strange. I did try to install the latest version of T3 2.4.0 but it still says I have 2.3.2, and when i checked on the backend it still says 2.3.2. Can I remove T3 2.3.2 and do a Clean install of T3 2.4.0? I checked also the permissions and they are right.

Hi, Tom.

Yes, you can uninstall T3 plugin. But before you do that change default template from Socialize to e.g protostar to avioid any error displays. After you reinstall plugin, again mark Socialize as your default template.
