You can disabled jomsocial component, you can do it in extensions manager.

There is some modules in your homepage, what you only need is set the modules as special access or disabled it.. I am not sure there is another way to achive this :)

I dont really get it, in your home page I see some modules, the jomsocial component is not there, only jomsocial modules, and the main layout you put jomsocial activities stream module. Do you mean you want to hide activity stream module? right?

This is global question, I thought you only want to hide jomsocial component, I am sorry for the misunderstood, if you are using socalize you can find that code from these files
