On my dev site, I set up an icon to each menu item, but these icons dont appear on menu. See the image below.

seem the menu conflict with CK menu component. please try create other menu type to replacing jomsocial toolbar menu.

at pure joomla + jomsoical + socialize, I can reproduce this issue. I have your site local copy. I will debugging it.

there is a bug with mega menu. please wait for the fixes. the missing icon only with registered menu items only.

sorry for delay. after socialize developer investigated it. this issue not with socialize, but with T3 framework.
socialize template using that framework. t3-framework.org

we must wait for T3 new release.
