I have a problem with the socialize template
Joomla 3.3.3.3
Jomsocial 3.2.0.5

When a user clicks on the options button just below cover picture the menu appears but when you move the mouse over to select an item from the menu it disapears.

I am seeing it is working fine at my local machine with latest socialize template.
Can you upload your site at live url so that I can check the issue?

This site is live but behind a firewall (used as an intranet).

I cannot upload it to another host as that will change any possible variable which could cause the issue.

I can setup a remote session if you are available any time from now untill 5pm GMT.

If you want to try and replicate it please try using the following.

ubuntu 12.04
Zpanel web management console
The only extra module i have added is php5-ldap for ldap authentication.


Client is using IE 11
I have also tried using Firefox 24.8.0

Hard to us inspect the issue from intranet (which this is beyond our support www.jomsocial.com/support-policy )

So I suggest you upload your site the the live site, and then you update your Jomsocial to the latest version.

As I have already stated uploading it to another host will change all variables!

I have also given you identification of which Server it is running on.

I have even installed this on a windows 2008 r2 server wih the following

Wamp server 64bit latest version

And yet again it still does he same with IE and Firefox.

Thank you so much for this. We are a small special school and are using this for our autistic students. So we can prepare them for social media. That is why we cannot use this on any externaly hosted solution.

How about video screenshoot? It will be usefull for debugging this issue

I attached it "jomsocial.wmv" but it did not display as an attached file in this forum thread view.

added it as a zip

While looking at the option button I can see it is used on another page /events/viewevent/

It also does exactly the same thing on that page.
