hi, i'm having several issues setting the multilanguage in this template.
I've followed the joomla docs and t3 docs for multilanguage, but obiouvsly something gone wrong.
just navigate into the menu items (italian and english) to notice some broken links, in some case the megamenu totally disappear..
please help me with those crazy issues, i'm freaking out..
I checked your site and created Socialize style for pages for all languages.
From what I can see Menu Principale EN can't be assigned to Socialize EN... notice says that it's saved but when enetrs to megamenu again it's rolled back to main menu.
Si assign template developer to this thread.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.

are you talking about menu item alias? the jomsocial support in the other section told me to make the language menus just as alias to the main menu
That was I and this is fine. i saw that menu assignment in megamenu Socialize template don't work as it should.

did Ashraf has done something? it's almost working now..just the english menu stays italian when i switch language..
edit: i set Socialize_EN template with english menu and it seems works, Ashraf could you tell me what have you done?i have to replace the edits in localhost
I checked again i still don't get what have you done :) , maybe you edited some code too?
soon i will add another language, so i have to know for not bothering you again..
i checked again, the local and remote settings looks the same to me, the local doesnt work and the remote works. this is totally freaking me out..
some of you has done something to the code maybe?
We haven't touched anything in code.
The only change I've made was creating one style of Socialize template for all languages (ALL) and another one for lacking language. Then just assigned menu items and menu.
The reason I asked Ashref for assistance it that I couldn't assign English menu to MegaMenu.
But now it's assigned so there was probably a caching issue.

computers are deterministic, so..
the problem seems to be solved just because all the url rewrite/sef options were disabled.
So the problem is still here.
the ftp credentials are in the note in the first post.
Now the urlrewrite/sef is disabled, you can rename the .htaccess and enable the sef options and see some menu item like member list broken (or pointing to the front page) when you are logged, and some other when your are unlogged, like registration page.

I have logged in with ftp and checked the htaccess file and it is ok.
I have enabled htaccess file and make enable seo and url rewriting.
and also fixed the join us menu as it seemed broken.

when i'm logged (setting in frontend italian language):
- 'iscritti' points to the front page (should point to member list)
-iscritti/foto is broken (should point to all photos)
the only thing i notice is changed it's the whole 'amici' dropdown points to the front page when i set italian lang, and it's broken when i set english.
The megamenu doesnt working fine for another detail too: i set a 2 columns for the 'friends' dropdown, as you can see in backend in megamenu manager.
I think this is the last time i use t3.
