Hello everyone!
I need your help regarding the front page.
first, iam really sorry if this is a question already discussed, but I could not find the answer!
So, i use jomsocial + socialize template (last versions both). I remove get connected + the text Recent Activity from front page. But I still have the div showing up in the front page with a border.
I can't seem to find where I can totally remove it.
I guess i can put display:none; to div#t3-content.t3-content.span12.
But I would much prefer know for sure where i can edit and remove this position js_top and js_bottom. In the page layout from the template manager, i can see those two boxes 'message' and 'component (see attachments). But I cannot edit them and choose 'none' as display, as I can do for the other modules.
Well, i hope this is clear enough!

You can't remove "message" and "component" areas. Both are required to display system content. In area "message" system notices are displayed ant this area in not visible since there are no notices to display.
"Component" area displays content of components. So in case of JomSocial it will display everything from frontpage to events.
In area you want to hide/remove profile is displayed - just browse to profile an see what will appear in this place.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
