Hi Jack,
There is a option to customize any style at our template.
Please created a css file named "custom.css" under the folder "root/templates/socialize/css"
and override any existing style.

I have added the file "custom.css" at
"root/templates/socialize/css/"
You can see the file at
site admin panel > extensions > template manager > templates
> socialize [from installed template list] > css [folder, need to select from lest sidebar]
If you successfully go to the destination then you will see a file named custom.css.
So place any necessary css code which will be overridden.
