Hello, I have a problem with getting the Module Class Suffix to work, more precise, I can not get any of the SBOX suffixes to work.
I understand fully that there has to be a white space such as " sbox5" but no matter which SBOX variable I use it simply does't work and my models display without being inside the boxes.
Strangely if I use any of the 'alert' variables (such as; alert alert-info - alert alert-warning etc) in the Module Class Suffix they do work.
I have checked my template.css and compared it to the template.css within your socialize demo and they are the same.
I really don;t know what else to try so if you can give me a steer it will be appreciated.
Thanks
Tony
Hi, tony.
I see that some code around module is missing.
Did you customized any files within modules or template?
Hello Michal, no I haven't. That said I have had some work done on my site to install/configure the Jreviews modual and as far as I know the consultant didn't make changes.
Can you share with me what code is missing so I can amend please?
Thanks
Hi, tony.
I'm adding template developer to this thread. He needs to take look on it.
Hi Tony,
So far i am seeing it as third party issue. Jjreviews_overrides is overriding the module necessary html.
But i am unable to disable it from site backend.
I will advice you to disable the jreviews_overrides and check
otherwise we need user privilege as Super Admin.
Thanks
Thanks guys for getting back to me.
OK, I disabled the jreviews overrides but the Module Class Suffix SBOX still doesn't work.
I have given you user privileges of superuser and have kept the jreviews override disabled ( components>jreviews>configuration settings>general>disable overrides>yes ).
For your additional information, I have the joomlaxi profiletype module installed too and there is some form of (possible) override within that. I have checked and can't see any module html changes there though, but thought I would make you aware in case. This can be found - root> templates>socialize>html >com_xius
Thanks
Hi Tony,
Thanks for sharing the super admin access.
I have now disabled all component, modules, plugins of JReview from extension manager and now it is fully working fine with module class suffix.
So my suggestion is either go without jreview or you can style the module as you want.
Thanks
Wow, a complete disable of the jreviews and not just disabling of the overrides. OK, well I need to have jreviews running for my site so I guess the only option is to style the module myself.
Maybe a basic question but where can I find details on how to style the module classes myself?
BTW I appreciate the help you have given
cheers
Thank you support for pointing me in the right direction. Although I thought it a bit drastic that I would have to go without jreviews to get the class suffix working, I used your feedback to help me go look into it further.
So, in case this helps anyone else who may be running jreviews and has the same non-display of the module class suffix I thought I'd share this info with you.
Through process of elimination by having each and every jreviews extension disabled, the re-enabling one at a time I have found the extension causing the problem is the 'System-jreviews SEF'. All other jreviews extensions are fine to run and allow the suffix to display as intended. As far as I can tell so far having this one extension disabled is not affecting the functionality of the jreview mod and in fact the SEF extension is an optional extension.
Also, original thought was the jreviews override was causing the problem, well I am please to say that the overrides can be fully enabled without it causing the problem, good stuff I say!
So again, thanks jomsocial support for spending time looking at my problem in the first instance.
Cheers
