Hi there, thanks for your previous help. I decided, however, to implement Font Awesome icons and encountered two issues in the process needing your assistance. First, take a look at the provided attachments.

Issue #1: Icon spacing
The first image shows the icons as they appear in the megamenu configuration tool. Note that the icon is nicely separated from the menu text. However, when the icons appear on the actual menu, they are squished up against the menu text. How do I fix this?

Issue #2: Menu items with "Registered" user access do not show in megamenu configuration
The second image shows a logged in member. Note the menu item "Research and Advice" and that this item does not appear in the megamenu configuration tool (first image). It appears that the tool only shows menu items which are publicly accessible. To validate this--I changed another item in the menu from "Registered" to "Public" so that I could update it and sure enough, it appeared. I changed the menu item back to being available only to "Registered" users (which is the desred state) and it disappeared again from the megamenu configuration tool.

NOTE: While I have provided my login information, please inform me of any changes made so that I can record them in my configuration management log.

Additional note: Actually, I am seeing other strange things with formatting and loss of icon information that I think is related to the above. Let me know if you would like additional information but I think you'll find there's something not quite right. I am anxious to get this fixed as it's holding up the launch of this site. So thank you in advance for your support.

Hi, Amber.

1. Add in your custom.css (if you don't have it, feel free to create it. I should be located here: ROOT/templates/socialize/css):

.navbar-nav i {
margin: 0 10px 0 0;
}

Now icon will be 10px moved from text.

2. I must ask Socialize template developer about this issue. Here is a quick fix for this: create menu items in "Hidden menu" menu an then in "Main menu" link to them using System links -> Menu item alias. Now menu items will appear in menu and could be only for Registered users.

If you experienced any other issues, please create separated thread for each of them.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Added your modification to my CSS and that worked perfectly. Thank you!

A HUGE thank you to someone named Steve who replied that at the top of the megamenu configuration tool is the ability to select what access level to view. Oh my gosh! Duh! I am so sorry I missed this and thank you for your support!!!
