I'm having a problem with the width of sidebar-1 changing depending on whether there is something in sidebar-2. I'd like to keep Sidebar-1 width the same skinnier width that it is when there is something in the sidebar-2 module position. However, when I don't have anything in Sidebar-2, Sidebar-1 expands.

Anyway to keep Sidebar-1 width consistent? Thanks.

Hi Steve.

Since the issue seems to be releated to our Socialize template, then I'll ask our template developer Asraf for some help with this issue.

Just following up on this since it didn't seem to be resolved in 1.2.5.

Thanks.

Hi Steve,
Sorry for the delay.
According to the design, the left sidebar is smaller width than right sidebar.
But if you want save width then need to have small customization.
Let me know if you still need help.
Thanks

Hi Ashraf,

Actually that does not answer my issue. I understand that the left sidebar is smaller than the right sidebar but the problem comes when there is only a left sidebar on the page. When there is only a left sidebar on the page, the left sidebar becomes wider (than when there is a left sidebar and right sidebar on the page) so the left sidebar is not a consistent width on all my site pages.

Thanks.

Hi Steve,
I have replaced necessary code at the socialize template "root/templates/socialize/tpls/blocks/mainbody-js.php" line no : 24

"default" : [ "span9 pull-right"         , "span3"             ],
replaced by
"default" : [ "span10 pull-right"         , "span2"             ],
Now it should work fine as you expected.
Thanks
