I checked it: entered different class suffix - module works as expected. Everything seems to be ok.
The number of user avatars in line depends from overall width of site... that depends from your screen/device resolution.

If change the class of the module does not work as default class module shows three avatars to row instead of four.
Print screen removed as you requested.
But you saw on it that in my wide screen are more images in a row than three... even if class suffix is provided.
