How I can override Autor CPanel menu.

How I can override Autor CPanel menu.
Icreate two files:
default_cpanel.php
view.html.php
and paste them to templates/my template/html/com_publisher/users.
But it doesn't work.

Hi.

You can override ONLY files that are located:

ROOT/components/com_publisher/views/users/tmpl

with extension *.php.

Add some visible modification to your file like "xxxx" somewhere. is it displayed?


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

This means I can not override a file with Joomla tools and When you update the component my changes will be overwritten

Hi, Lazer.

You can't override ALL files but only those that are within "view" folder. This is expected thing in Joomla! and in accordance of it documentation. Customizing all other files is considered as "core files hack" and will be lost during upgrade.
