I noticed quotes in chat messages:



Does it related with JomSocial or I need to check something on my server (magic quotes)?

Yes, it seems to be your server or site configuration issue. On my test site it works fine:

prntscr.com/hos2sv

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Michał.

Can you please make one more test:
1) open other user's profile
2) press "Send Message"
3) type in popup window any text with "quotes" (or my text in spoiler).

I suppose that quotes looks normal if users just send each other messages inside chat. But if they start new chat (or use "Send Message" button / popup window), message it will add some ////


(but this /// still can be my server problem :) )

Great find :) Nope, this seems to be a bug.
I was able to replicate it. prntscr.com/hou3d6
I send report to our developers.

Please, make safe copy of those files:

ROOT/components/com_community/assets/release/js/bundle.js
ROOT/components/com_community/assets/source/js/popups/pm.send.js

Then replace original files by uploading content of teh zip package into your site ROOT folder.
