Hi,
1. User is registered.
2. After the completion of the basic information, a letter is sent to him e-mail "Thank you for registering... Your login, password... After completing this registration process, you will receive a new email with a link for activation". The user thinks that the registration has ended ((( (screenshot)

You can't delete that email or block it as this is Joomla! obligatory email.
JomSocial is a Joomla! extensions and needs to follow it rules. Thus before you can set a profile in registration - an account needs to be crated first.
Then a profile is made and assigned to Joomla! user account.
So you need to have those two emails and I'm sorry we can't do anything about it.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
