If new users don't go through whole registration, we have a problem

Hi there,

Thanks for always great support!
We experience that new users who want's do register, but don't do the whole registration process, but leave before filling out all pages. When they come back, they can not start over, because their mail/username is already in use, but they can't log in either, because their user isn't registered.
In back end I can't find the user, neither in Jomsocial component or in Joomla Core Member section.

To replicate:
Create a new user, but stop the registration process on page 2, for instance.
Try creating a new user afterwards, with the same criteria.
Try logging in with the criteria.

To check up on existing user:
Username: Tania
Mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

User isn't found in back end, but in front end, she can't create a new user with these criteria, because she is already registered, it states.

I'm sorry but I was unable to replicate this issue on your site or on my test one.
Each time user wasn't created and I was able to register again.
I even received a mail notification each time on the same email: prntscr.com/h4pzaj

I currently have a user who claimed to have had that experience, and now she is not in the user system, but can’t create new profile either, as it states that her username and mail is already registered?

Could you edit your first post and provide database credentials? I'll investigate directly in db.

You won't believe :) I logged in to database - but did nothing yet.
Thought I check user registration again...
And this time I registered Tania without any issues...
Strange. I recall in past when I tried - I couldn't but this time there was no problem.
User is created - just change password.
There was no fault in database... I don't know what that was... :/ But it's working now :)

I noticed this issue too some time before.

After full account data (name, login, email, password) and press next, Joomla user is creating.

But if stop process after it, JomSocial user will not be created.

And, if I’m not mistaken, created Joomla user is inactive (blocked) and can’t restore password and login.

I’ll try to test it.
